Presented at Barcamp Nashville 09
by Justin on 10/25/2009 · 8 Comments · SEOLast weekend I presented at the third annual Barcamp Nashville and had a blast. It was my first speaking gig, and it went really well. I expected a small showing, but no, somewhere between 150 to 200 people showed up to see me speak. Was an extremely exciting experience.
My session was on Design, Development & SEO: Building Search-Friendly Websites. I thought I’d be a great top to cover after winning the Marketing Pilgrim SEM contest a few months back. If you missed that, my article 9 SEO Tips for Attractive Search Engine Friendly Web Design won first place. As a result, I’m traveling a lot this Fall for SMX and PubCon.
For anyone wishing to catch my slides from my session, I’ve uploaded them to slide share.
Good of you to drop by and not forget us.
Fantastic to hear things are going well for you.
Keep punching!!!!!

Great Post, worth reading. Provides good insight of SEO at least for beginners like me.
Justin,
I really enjoyed your presentation at Barcamp Nashville. Im using some of your tips for my Cool Springs and Franklin TN site. I know youre at Pubcon so Im guessing youre not attending BarCamp Memphis tomorrow. It was really good last year.

I missed your presentation at BarCamp (new baby), but I am so happy that you posted the video! Onehalfamazing sent me the link so you should thank Bob.
Hey Justin, I dropped you an email last week. Not sure if you got it or not… I came across an old site of yours and it looks like it’s a dead project. I’m working the niche and was wondering if you would be interesting in selling it. Let me know.
Thanks!
